History

Leafmode was founded by Arul John in Maryland in 2011 and is currently located in Virginia since 2014.

CEO Mildred John is an entrepreneur and teacher, and has a lot of experience marketing and e-commerce. She also coaches American Computer Science League (ACSL) and Python to school children weekly. She has also been involved in coaching and mentoring First Lego League (FLL) clubs.

CTO Arul has over 24 years of diverse experience in software development and architecture, and Linux administration. He has worked in various areas including telecom (AOL, Comcast, Verizon), healthcare (UnitedHealth), domain registrar (Afilias) and space (NASA). In his spare time, Arul coaches ACSL and USA Computing Olympiad (USACO), and teaches Python to school children weekly. He has also mentored students in robotics and the Raspberry Pi.
